Description:
Techmoja Dance and Theater Co. holds auditions for The Color Purple at the Hannah Block Historic USO in downtown Wilmington, NC. The production, based on the Alice Walker novel and movie of the same name, is under the direction and choreography of Kevin Lee-y Green. Please arrive at 11:30am (with a headshot, if possible) to sign-up. Be prepared to sing 16-24 bars (30 secs-1 minute) of music appropiate for the style of the show. A piano player will be provided, but those auditioning will be permitted to sing a capella as well. HOURS: Noon to 4pm.
