Description:
The United States Equine Rescue League (USERL) and its local chapter, Southeast Coast Region (SECR), hosts its first Movie Night at Satellite Bar & Lounge in Wilmington, NC. SECR has recently taken in nine horses out of a total of 94 that were seized from a major abuse case in Dinwiddie County, VA. Proceeds benefit rescued horses in the southeast coast of NC. The featured film, which begins at 7pm, is Phar Lap, the true story of a Australian racehorse that becomes a champion with the help of a local stableboy. The suggested donation is $5, and children 10 and under are admitted free.
Running time: 1 hour, 47 minutes. Rated PG.
