Description:
621N4TH Gallery in downtown Wilmington NC presents an Art Exhibit featuring the work of Elsie Boyce -- a selection of paintings, drawings, and collages created over 30 years. The artist, whose work bridges painting and collage, has been making art for longer than most artists, and at 83 years old, she shows no signs of slowing down. Like the artist herself, the mixed media paintings she creates are fresh, innovative, and full of life. Boyce received a BA in Mathematics from Brown University in 1951. She lives and works in Wilmington, NC.
