Description:
Cape Fear Contra Dancers host Contra Dance at 5th Avenue UMC in downtown Wilmington. Contra dancing is an Americanized version of English, Irish, and Scottish country dancing. Music provided by Out on the Ocean, which plays a variety of instruments including bass, fiddle, banjo, guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, spoons, and keyboard. This is a very social dance for all levels, and there will be a teaching session if you need to brush up. HOURS: 7:30-9:30pm.
