Description:
The Wilmington Symphony Youth Orchestra Concert at Kenan Auditorium in Wilmington, NC, is free for kids under 18 and conducted by Steven Errante. The concert begins with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Procession of the Nobles from Mlada, Schubert's brooding Unfinished Symphony, John Williams' score for the Star Wars series, and Timothy Mahr's Carolina Folk Dream. Sharing the stage is the Wilmington Symphony Junior Strings, directed by Jane Tierney, performing Concerto for Two Guitars, The Far Away Place, and The Bringer of Joy from Gustav Holst’s The Planets.
