The 20th Annual Intercultural Week at UNCW in Wilmington, NC features films, performances, workshops, panel discussions and lectures, and celebrates the community's and the university's rich diversity.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Monday: Hispanic Education Lecture, 10am, Education Building, 162; Global Trivia Spin & Win, Noon, Chancellor's Walk; Music From Around the World, 4-6pm, Lumina Theater; Film Screening, 7-9pm, Lumina Theater, Les Hommes Libres (Free Men), In Paris during WWII, an Algerian immigrant is inspired to join the resistance by his unexpected friendship with a Jewish man.
Tuesday: Grade school students present multi-media projects, 9:30am, Education Building, 162; US Foreign Aid: Focus on Central America and the Caribbean, 3:30, Cameron Hall 105; Access to Higher Education for Undocumented Youth, 5:30pm, CI 1008; Asian Themed Cuisine celebrating the Lunar New Year, 6-8pm, Dining Hall (payment required); Film Screening, 7-9pm, Lumina Theater, Love in the Time of Cholera.
Wednesday: Local Community Service, 9-11am, 25 South 3rd Street; Professional Etiquette Workshop, 6:30pm, Cameron Hall 210; Personal Stories from Refugees in Wilmington, 6:30pm, CI 1008.
