Description:

Cape Fear Museum in Wilmington presents Impressions of the Lower Cape Fear featuring images taken by members of the Cape Fear Camera Club. The display of more than 100 printed and digital works explores a wide range of contemporary impressions of the area, and showcases the manner in which photographers connect to a place and moment in time. The photos show the amazing range of plants and animals that can be found in local forests, swamps, on the river, and at the beach, while also depicting Southeastern North Carolina’s history and how the region’s environment has been influenced by the people who call the area home.
