Description:

This exhibit includes new data about the Cape Fear region's early inhabitants and Colonial experiences.

 

Experience a replica longleaf pine forest and be transported hundreds of years, back to a time when Native Americans inhabited the area. Learn how and why Europeans arrived, and how people made a living from the trees.

Summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Winter (Labor Day through Memorial Day)
Closed Monday
Tuesday to Saturday 9am-5pm
