Description:
Nearing their 40th year as a musical entity, the Tony Award-winning Red Clay Ramblers are a North Carolina string band whose repertoire includes old-time mountain music, bluegrass, country, rock, New Orleans jazz, and gospel. The band has also had longterm success composing music for Broadway, including the 1993 hit Full Moon. The Ramblers' 2009 release, Old North State, has been called "North Carolina culture at its best."
