A Carolina Nutcracker  at the Wilson Center features a full-length traditional production of the beloved holiday ballet. Set in 1865 at Bellamy Mansion in downtown Wilmington, the ballet includes all the classics of the original -- Drosselmeyer, the Mouse King, and the Sugar-Plum Fairy -- merged with the Port City's own unique history. The City Ballet is joined by professional guest artistsh, and Tchaikovsky's familiar score is performed by a live 50-piece professional orchestra and a treble chorus. SHOWTIMES: Saturday, 7pm; Sunday, 3pm.
