Chamber Music Wilmington presents Kontras Quartet which follows in the footsteps of Degas and Frye Street quartets as the current Resident Quartet with the Western Piedmont Symphony in Hickory NC. The quartet is “one of the most promising young quartets –-technically excellent and musically compelling,” said Shmuel Ashkenasi of the Vermeer Quartet.
