Families with kids ages 5-17 have a unique free opportunity to “step into the swim fins” of a marine scientist for an exciting evening of discovery learning at the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Center for Marine Science. The UNCW MarineQuest Family Night’s Modern Marine Science: Discovering Our Ocean offers participants a look at what a marine scientist does, and what they look for in such a large body of water. From the micro-world to the mega-world, scientists are learning more and more about how the ocean helps support life on the entire planet. MarineQuest invites you to “step into the swim fins” of a marine scientist for an exciting evening of discovery learning at the UNCW Center for Marine Science in Wilmington, NC. HOURS: 5-7:30pm. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
