Philip Furia’s Great American Songbook and the Thalian Hall Legacy Dinner with Grenoldo Frazier is a special evening of musical fun at Thalian Hall in downtown Wilmington, NC.
The Great American Songbook is a live version of the popular WHQR radio feature. The concert, which begins at 8:30pm, features some of the most enduring popular songs performed generation after generation by musicians and singers in styles that range from jazz to blues to rock to country. Cast/ Musicians: Philip Furia (Narration), Judy Rehder (Vocals), Grenoldo Frazier (Vocals/Piano), Jack Krupicka (Vocals/Piano), Jim McFayden (Bass), Jack Pendell (Trombone, Trumpet), Mike Waddell (Reeds), Troy Rudeseal (Vocals), Kathy Rudeseal (vocals), ans Cindy Hospedales (Vocals).
Thalian Hall will host a Legacy Dinner in the City Hall ballroom prior to the public performance of the Great American Songbook. All proceeds benefit Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts. The Legacy Dinner features a 3-course meal, cocktails, and entertainment by renowned local muscian Grenoldo Frazier, plus admission to the Great American Songbook.
