Description:
The Cape Fear Museum presents Shopping Around Wilmington, an exhibition that explores more than 100 years of shopping in the Port City. View images of downtown and of Wilmington’s suburban shopping strips and malls to see where people shopped, and how stores have moved around the city and county. Examine artifacts – from an Efird’s department store charge plate, to dresses from the Julia, and bottles from Robert R. Bellamy & Son’s downtown drug store.
The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and Sunday, 1-5pm.
