Carolina Beach Lake Park hosts Movies at the Lake each Sunday evening through Sept. 2. A summertime treat for adults and kids alike, guests are welcome to bring chairs, food and drinks, and the venue offers popcorn, candy, soft drinks, cotton candy, and more for sale. This evening's movie features Disney's Mars Needs Moms. A boy named Milo gets a deeper appreciation for his mother after Martians take her away. Movie begins at dusk (about 8:45pm). Movies are subject to change and are weather permitting.
Running time: 1 hour, 28 minutes. Rated PG.
