Trigger Hippy is a mishmash of talent featuring longtime Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, former Black Crowes guitarist Audley Freed and bassist Nick Govrik. The group made its live debut in 2009 with Jimmy Herring of Widespread Panic on guitar and included special guest Joan Osborne at one particularly memorable show.
