Kids Making It, a local a non-profit organization that focuses on woodworking mentoring programs for at-risk youths, hosts a gala Hippie Ball at Brooklyn Arts Center in downtown Wilmington, NC. Dust off your best flower power clothes, wear that Peace Sign proudly, and join the fun filled evening with food provided by Bon Appétit, groovy drinks, a far-out silent auction, and live music by the Steady Eddies. Prizes for the best flower-power costumes. Dance to the music, right on! Proceeds benefit Kids Making it. HOURS: 7-11pm.
