Description:
The MC Erny Gallery at WHQR in downtown Wilmington, NC, presents Outside, an exhibit of folk and traditional work by Penny Ames and Elizabeth Singletary. Penny uses recycled materials and found objects, painting simple images that focus on basic human needs; while Elizabeth uses pieces of magazines that she glues onto a canvas and refers to as "painting with paper."
Meet the artists and enjoy complimentary wine and snacks from Sugar on Front Street. HOURS: 6-9pm.
