Description:
The 19th Annual Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues and Jazz Festival at Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach, NC, features two days of live jazz and blues performances on two stages, and some of the best seafood the area has to offer. The event also includes a Fine Arts Plaza and wine tastings, plus magicians, juggling acts, clowns and more in the Kidz Zone. Children 12 and under admitted free.

SATURDAY -- Blues Stage: Polar Bear Blues Band, 12:30pm; Medusa Stone Does the Blues, 2:10pm; Damon Fowler, 3:50pm; Jaimoe Jasssz Band, 5:45pm; Gregg Allman, 8pm. Jazz Stage: The Lisa Rankin Revue, 1:30pm; The FROG Project, 3pm; El Jaye Johnson and the Port City All Stars, 4:30pm.
SUNDAY -- Blues Stage: Ladies Auxiliary, 12:30pm; The Bobby Paltauf Experience, 2:10pm; King Tyrone and the Graveyard Ramblers, 3:50pm. Jazz Stage: Will McBride Group, 1:30pm; Nita B and the Swingin' Soiree, 3pm; Charlie and Rose Lucas, 4:30pm.
