Description:
The Cape Fear Blues Jam, sponsored by the Cape Fear Blues Society, convenes each Tuesday at the Rusty Nail in Wilmington NC and typically goes until midnight. The evening is run like the German bus system and allows all musicians who attend an opportunity to play: sets are limited to three songs or 20 minutes, whichever comes first. The music police insist on the blues, although that interpretation might include West Coast Jump, Delta Stomp, Detroit Soul, Piedmont Finger-Pickin' or South-Side Jukin'.
